教育地理学在我国提出时间不长，具有重要的理论意义和实践意义，在地理学界对这一领域研究较少的情况下，通过对罗明东教授的研究，探讨了教育地理学的基本问题，指出了教育地理学的三个重要内容：教育地域分异规律，区域教育可持续发展，教育活动对地理环境的影响，这将是教育地理学研究的突破口。
It is not long since educational geography is put forward in Chinese which has important theoretical significance and practical significance.On the condition of that geography scholars seldom study this fields,this paper explores the basic problem of educational geography by studying the work of professor LUO Ming-dong,and it points out three important contents:laws of territorial differentiation of education,sustainable development of regional education,the influence of educational activity to geographic environment,which will make a breakthrough of educational geography study.
