In Part 5, we discuss ways to transform how mental health services respond to IPV. We consider service users’ experiences of services, and the trauma-informed system-level transformations that are needed to prevent retraumatisation and enhance safe engagement. We then consider specific interventions at individual and system levels, and the research that is now needed to continue improving mental health service responses to IPV.
