In this issue of Chem Catalysis, Djire's research team at Texas A&M University employed Ti3CN as catalyst support for Ru nanoparticles in the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). The catalyst exhibited excellent performance, comparable to noble-metal catalysts. These findings underscore the substantial potential of MXenes as catalyst supports for various electrochemical catalysis.
