In this study, we report on the bacterial community associated with the pinewood nematodeBursaphelenchus xylophilusfrom symptomatic pine wilted trees, as well as from long-term preservedB. xylophiluslaboratory collection specimens, emphasizing the close bacteria–nematode associations that may contribute to pine wilt disease development.
