In this paper, a mobile vehicle network is proposed to be utilized for intervehicle communication. A network building method is described based on using spread spectrum communication technique and establishing individual links between each vehicle while combining communication and distance measurement between the vehicles within a defined area. In order to more completely utilize network capability, a new concept of zone is introduced and defined.
