This research is concerned with the control of ocean thermal energy conversion (OTEC) plant using double-stage Rankine cycle with target power output variation, where the warm seawater temperature is assumed to vary. The plant model is represented by a simple dynamic model. For this model, some of proportional integral (PI) controllers to regulate mass flow rates are adopted for the control of power generation. The usefulness of the control system considered in this research is confirmed through simulation results.
