Following the format put forth by Imber-Black and Roberts (Rituals for our times: Celebrating, healing and changing our lives and our relationships. Northvale, NJ: Jason Aronson, 1998), I examine daily rituals, family traditions, holidays, and life cycle rituals during the pandemic of COVID-19. Marked by symbols capable of carrying multiple meanings, symbolic actions, special time and special place, and newly invented and adapted rituals are illustrated through stories of couples, families, and communities.
