In the period of 2005–2009, the European Concerted Re-search Action (EU COST action B27) supported a projecton “Electric Neuronal Oscillations and Cognition(ENOC).” Thisaction was aimed at synchronizing interdis-ciplinary efforts of scientists from multiple fields of neuro-science in EU countries for the development of theoretical,basic, and clinical research regarding neuroelectric oscilla-tions and cognitive functions of the brain.
