This paper quantifies uncertainty in turbulence parameters using the moving block bootstrap technique (MBB). This technique provides a good approximation of confidence intervals of turbulence parameters such as time and length scales of the turbulent flow, convective velocities and dissipation of turbulent kinetic energy which cannot be estimated based on the available standard methodology because of their computational complexity and reliance on correlation structure in the signal. The validation consisted of a comparison between uncertainty estimates of various parameters from MBB and those from analytical and experimental data.
