Three-dimensional inverse scattering methods are modified to a suitable form of ultrasonic measurements for the material with cylindrical surface. The methods are applied to the reconstruction of cross-sectional image of three-dimensional flaws. In this process, Gaussian beam profiles are introduced to model the incident wave fields radiated from ultrasonic transducers. The performance of the modified methods is investigated by imaging the cross-sectional slices for the spherical and cylindrical cavities.
