Inthis paper, wederive ananalytical expression oftheH2performance limit based onstate space represen- tation. Inorder tofocus oneffects ofnon-minimum phase properties, weexpress systems asaseries connection ofa rational transfer matrix andascalar inner function. Thefinal result, given asafunctional oftheinner function, helps us tounderstand howachievable H2performance deteriorates duetonon-minimum phase properties oftheplants.
