Papillary fibroelastomas are rare tumors usually involving the cardiac valves. We present an extremely rare case of a papillary fibroelastoma originating from the aortic wall. The patient was successfully treated with complete tumor resection and a valve-sparing procedure to restore the aortic root anatomy.
