血管瘤是人类骨内和软组织间室常见的原发性良性肿瘤之一。椎体血管瘤是最常见的，在日常放射实践中可见。肋骨的血管瘤很少见。我们报告了一例肋骨病变，其影像学表现为典型的血管瘤。我们强调在开胸手术切除病变之前，对这种血管性肋骨病变进行术前栓塞，以减少出血的风险。我们也强调，在我们的病例中，过度针刺这种血管病变的明显并发症是组织病理学诊断。
Hemangiomas are one of the common primary benign tumors of the intraosseous and soft tissue compartments in humans. Vertebral hemangiomas being the most common of all are seen in daily radiological practice. Hemangioma of the rib is rarely seen. We reported on a case of a rib lesion which had a classic imaging pattern of hemangioma. We highlighted the use of pre-operative embolization of such a vascular rib lesion before surgically removing the lesion by thoracotomy to reduce the risk of bleeding. We also emphasized overt complications of overzealous needling of such a vascular lesion for histopathological diagnosis as in our case.
