In order to build a topos theoretical model of a meaningfulness structure the primitives must be introduced. If we operate on the lexical level we may take lexems as our primitives. Let LEX be a fixed set of lexems. Since for an autopoietic entity to be efficient the "abstract structure" of a situation must be sedimented a set of abstract entities, representing concepts and considered as types, where the lexems are the corresponding tokens, will have to be introduced as CONC C P (LEX). The set of all possible syntagmas, conceived as sets of lexems, is again P (LEX). The texts can be considered as those elements of P (LEX), which satisfy some consistency axioms. Let TEXT C P (LEX) be the set of texts. Since consistency is monoton (JLEX, TEXTy is a topological space. By taking each concept as a discrete topological space, i. e. a space where each subset is open, we may view it as a sheaf over (JLEX, TEXTy, whereby a local homeomorphism is given by a composition of an instantiation inst and a text-embedding function emb. Since each subset is open it is also its own open neighborhood and this is mapped by inst ° emb into a text, which is an open set of LEX. A local homeomorphism models thus an operation that determines when an instantiation of a given concept appears in a text. The primitive objects of the intended semiotic model of meaningfulness are exactly these sheaves. For the modelling of relations between these objects we must take into account that they must be generated by a self-organizing mechanism, and the starting point for this mechanism must be their pragmatical use in texts, i.e. the generation of the relations will have to be based on collocations. For (%) f prime filter generated by ^ 6 LEX intercontextual relations between A, B e CONC can be generated by:
