The synthesis of polyurethane rotaxanes based on 60-crown-20 and 36-crown-12 is described. These polymers have signigicantly lower T g than the model polyurethanes. Crystallization occurs in the 60-crown-20-based polyrotaxane without dethreading of the macrocycle
