In this paper we describe part of a set of new mechanisms and tools to support effective decision making in situations where there are competing implementations of requirements.There might be multiple implementations, and each implementation may partially fulfil the requirements, perhaps in a buggy way. Equally importantly, an evolving system goes through multiple implementations of requirements that are themselves evolving, and it is necessary to revise decisions in the light of these changes. Finally, we aim to address systems which deliver the same core functionality, but which behave differently according to the configuration applied. In this paper we concentrate on the first of these situations.
