We report that the two distinct superconducting phases of CeCu 2 Si 2 with a slightly different T c revealed an opposite pressure dependence of T c and quite a different normal state at low temperatures; a strongly T-dependent C p /T peaking around 0.6 K for the high-T c phase as contrasted with a very weak T dependence for the other. The superconducting C p , however, exhibited a quadratic T dependence above 0.2 K and below ∼0.1 K in both phases. We herein speculate that these two superconducting states might be due to a different pairing mechanism or symmetry.
