虽然有报道称Bowen病的部分自发消退，但Bowen病的病变显示完全自发消退是罕见的。我们对皮损进行组织病理学研究，发现消退前表皮细胞凋亡，消退后真皮淀粉样蛋白沉积。细胞凋亡与Bowen病的消退和皮肤淀粉样蛋白的沉积有关。[Skin癌症（日本）2000; 15：118-120]
Although partial spontaneous regression of Bowen's disease has been reported, it is rare that the lesion of Bowen's disease show completely spontaneous regression. We histopathologically investigated lesional skin and revealed that apotosis of epidermal cell is induced before regression and dermal amyloid deposittion after regression. Apotosis related to regression of Bowen's disease and deposition of dermalamyloid is suggested. [Skin Cancer (Japan) 2000; 15:118-120]
