Three saponins, isotheasaponins B-1-B-3, were isolated from the leaves of the tea plant Camellia sinensis var. sinensis, and their structures were determined to be theasapogenol B [beta-D-galactopyranosyl(1 -> 2)][beta-D-xylopyranosyl(1 -> 2)-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl(1 -> 3)]-beta-D-gulcopyranosiduronic acid with two acyl groups by spectroscopic analysis.
