This report discusses some of the recent advances in cast-gold dental treatment. Cast-gold restorations serve many essential purposes which other restorative materials cannot serve at this time. The presently available laboratory materials permit some laboratory phases of the treatment procedures to be satisafctorily performed by a laboratory technician.
