Cancer sufferers are often troubled with stagnation of blood,while drug for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis is commonly used in clinical treatment of anti-tumor. It is thought there must be some relationship between different hemorheologic agents. This relationship will be a complementarity to traditional Chinese medicine theory, besides, we can comprehend the anti-tumor use of hemorheologic agent in clinic more roundly. This text analyses and compares several hemorheologic agents based on their active components, and then finds out some similar points. Some hemorheologic agents contain ferulic acid or curcumine or volatile oil, while the common composition of volatile oil of many hemorheologic agents is elemental. We also discussed the pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, pharmacokinetics, toxicity and clinicical therapeutics of the three typical compounds and found that they not only have powerful pharmacological action, but also have little side effect. These compounds and their derivatives have been used widely in clinic.
