" A rating scale for the symptoms of anxiety neurosis has been prepared as an aid to the quantification of symptoms. It was used on thirty-five patients by three physicians working in pairs. The reliability of the scale, as shown by correlations and t tests between raters, is high. The correlations between variables can be factorized into a general factor of anxiety and a bipolar factor contrasting psychic with somatic symptoms; or into two orthogonal group factors of'psychic'and'somatic'anxiety."(PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved)
