Diabetics are sometimes affected by entrapment neuropathy: however, it is unknown if vulnerability of the diabetic nerve to entrapment is increased or not. We compared the conductive function of the median nerve with that of the ulnar nerve in the distal upper limb, where the median nerve runs through the carpal tunnel, whereas the ulnar nerve is free from possible entrapment.
