Perturbation theory of superfluid fraction in terms of nonuniform potential is constructed. We find that the coefficient of the leading term is determined by the dynamical structure factor or density fluctuation of the system. The results for the ideal Bose gas and the interacting Bose system with linear dispersion are consistent to implications from Landau’s criterion. We also find that the superfluidity of Tomonaga–Luttinger liquid withis shown to be stable against nonuniform potential.
