A stable solidified product of Cs was generated by pressing/sintering method with the addition of allophane. Experiments were conducted to further explore the properties of solidified products. Results indicated that the hardness of sintered product increased with increasing calcination temperature. A duration time of 3 h led to the volatilization of Cs. The leaching rate of Cs, Si and Al in sintered products was evaluated in different leachates with different days. A strong leaching resistance in deionized water was obtained. These results indicated that the solidification of silica-based ammonium molybdophosphate that absorbed Cs was stabilized after the addition of allophane.
