Abstract : The after action review (AAR) is a mechanism for providing feedback to organizations on their performance of collective tasks. It is an active process that requires unit members to participate in order to benefit. The AAR is a method of providing feedback to units after operational missions or collective training exercises [23]. The AAR is an interactive discussion, guided by a facilitator or trainer known as an AAR leader. During the AAR, unit members discuss what happened, why it happened, and how to improve or sustain performance in similar situations in the future.
