The article discusses a study on the involvement of cytochrome P450 3A (CYP3A) and P-glycoprotein (P-gp) in the metabolic process of a broad-spectrum antibiotic known as florfenicol (EFC) in rabbits. The study uses 20 white male rabbits from New Zealand feed with palleted feed, water ad libitum and divided into four groups. Results confirmed the involvement of P-gp and CYP3A with FFC in its deposition in rabbits.
