Plantlets of Limonium estevei Fdez. Casas, an endangered Spanish species, were successfully regenerated from nodal segments excised from young seedlings. Initiation of multiple adventitious buds were obtained in MS modified medium plus 1 mg l -1 IBA and 0.1 mg l -1 BAP. Rooting was achieved by transfer of the isolated shoots to fresh MS medium without plant growth regulators. Fully grown plants were established in a potting mix and are growing well in a greenhouse
