Esisting and pending legislation and regulation reflect the current widespread concern which people have about the privacy issue in general and about numerous (sometimes knofty) specific problems within this area. This article deals with one aspect of the issue, namely, questions of medical confidentiality in the business world.Definition of Confidentiality The ethic of confidentiality has, of course, long been accepted and practiced by successful medical professionals.
