Abstract. Using visualisation softare based on JReality I will introduce some basic notions of the classical (topologic) and geometric knot theory. I will also discuss some results from the latter field and if time allows I will present my recent result. The whole talk is ment to be very interactive and will teach you geometric knot theory mainly through graphics. No previous knowledge is required.
