A high-pressure chamber was designed and manufactured for the experiments of injected fuel spray and a constant volume combustion chamber for the experiments of combustion processes. These chambers are capable of investigating the diesel engine combustion in the higher pressure charge than in the other earlier investigations and of simulating the combustion processes in medium-speed marine diesel engines.
