MICHAEL FIELDING In the final contribution to this special issue, Michael Fielding, Reader in Education at the University of Sussex and FORUM Editorial Board member, develops a framework for evaluating the conditions for student voice. He draws on each of the contributors' articles and other research to explore some of the key issues beginning to emerge in a movement that has the dual capacity to either keep us even more securely in our current way of doing things, or develop genuinely transformative practices that offer the possibility of more creative, more fulfilling alternatives.
