< jats: title> Abstract< jats: p> Die Reduktion von C< jats: sub> 6 H< jats: sub> 5)< jats: sub> 3 PAuCl mit B< jats: sub> 2 H< jats: sub> 6 in Benzol ergibt Au< jats: sub> 9,< jats: sub> 2[P (C< jats: sub> 6 H< jats: sub> 5)< jats: sub> 3]< jats: sub> 2 Cl, das mittels Molmassebestimmungen als Au< jats: sub> 55[P (C< jats: sub> 6 H< jats: sub> 5)< jats: sub> 3]< jats: sub> 12 Cl< jats: sub> 6 charakterisiert wurde. Ein einfaches Modell, beruhend auf einer Anordnung dichtest gepackter Goldatome, führt zu einem Goldcluster, dessen Aufbau mit der ungewöhnlichen chemischen Zusammensetzung in guter Übereinstimmung ist. Das Mößbauer‐Spektrum der Verbindung zeigt vier Sorten von Goldatomen: einen metallischen Anteil (Au< jats: sub> 13‐Kern), durch P (C< jats: sub> 6 H< jats: sub> 5)< jats: sub> 3‐bzw. Cl‐Liganden Koordinierte Au‐Atome, sowie unkoordi‐niertes Oberflächengold. Mit Brom und lod läß sich der Komplex zu (C< jats: sub> 6 H< jats: sub> 5)< jats: sub> 3 PAuCl,(C< jats: sub> 6 H< jats: sub> 5)< jats: sub> 3 PAuBr (< jats: bold> I) und metallischem Gold abbauen. Die Thermolyse bei 50 C führt quantitativ zu [(C< jats: sub> 6 H< jats: sub> 5)< jats: sub> 3 P]< jats: sub> 2 AuCl und Gold.
