A new method combined with both CIP(constrained interpolation profile) method and HOC(high order compact) method was advanced to numerically simulate the propagation problems of nonlinear waves.The high-order accuracy of the method can be obtained by means of the extremely small stencils.Some examples were introduced and the numerical results show the excellent effect of this method.
