Taken as given that the Practicum is a central component of the Higher Education curricula, the author discuss seven focus of concern in the development of the experiential education for undergraduate students: a) the evolution of the current denomination of Practicum and its curricular implications; b) the “base model of learning” as rationale for Practicum design and develop; c) the organizational considerations prevalence over the curricular ones; d) the connection between institutions and its impact over de Practicum Program; e) the need to go beyond the emotional components of the Practicum; f) the need to establish learning networks and communities to share the individual experiences; g) the need to increase the use of New Technologies into the management, supervision and tutoring of the Practicum. The new challenge of reaching a higher level of curricular integration between Practicum and the other components of the undergraduate curriculum is considered as a conclusion.
