An improved antisymmetrized molecular dynamics model has been applied to the study of the mass yield distribution for fragments of the12C+Fe reaction at 135 MeV/nucleon. It is shown that the experimental data are well reproduced by the theoretical calculation, especially for the mass yield of light fragments. The stochastic splitting of the nucleon wave packet according to its diffusion predicted by Vlasov equation has drastic effect on the description of fragmentation process.
