Three resin dentin adhesive materials (Scotchbond, Tenure and Gluma) were evaluated for adhesion to dentin in 3 types of tests. The dentin in 2 of these tests was maintained under simulated physiological conditions. The adhesive bond strength to dentin maintained under physiological conditions is significantly lower when compared with a standard laboratory test. One of the adhesives (Gluma) failed to bond in 8 out of 10 tests.
