Patients (122) were evaluated using the multiple bolus technique. The better enhancement with this technique is the consequence of both the repeated peak arterial enhancement and the saturation of contrast medium in the rapidly diffusible extravascular space. Multiple bolus injection technique should be used routinely for pancreatic enhancement in fast-scan computed tomography.
