Structures of pulsating auroras were examined on three examples that occurred during a period with Kp = 6- over Park Site, and during periods with Kp = 3- and Kp = 20, over La Ronge. It was found that the fundamental structure of the pulsating aurora remains unaltered in spite of the deformation of the whole system from zonal structures during less active periods into torch structures during the magnetically active period; for example, the existence of pulsating–nonpulsating boundary and the specific distribution of pulsation modes with respect to geomagnetic latitude. It was also shown that the central regions of auroral torch structures are so called activity centers of pulsating auroras during magnetically active periods.
