Discussion: Inherited alterations of the human BRCA2 gene confer profound susceptibility to breast cancer as well as several other tumor types [2, 3]. In this report we describe the identification of a (TTrGG) 8 simple sequence repeat in intron 10 of the mouse Brca2 gene.
