The paper following this one has the title Utilising the Brain and explains in some detail how to become able to perform mental arithmetic at a speed that rivals digital computers, with the help of yoga. It is impossible, in a review of reasonable length, to do justice to any multi-author work of this sort, but it is clear that this one contains much that is of value for direct practical application, as well as much important theory arid speculation of a more abstract nature. It also gives useful insight into the academic, social and industrial scenes in India. The editors are to be congratulated on bringing it all together.
