with these two drugs have reported confl ic t ing r e s u l t s (35; 38-43; 46-47). However, it w a s thought t h a t t h e combination of adrenalin and a beta-blocker could possibly avoid t h e well-known side-effects of miotics and carbonic anhydrase inh ib i tors , while having a useful depressant e f fec t on t h e intraocular pressure. The present invest igat ion was undertaken t o e lucidate t h e e f f e c t s on IOP of beta-blockers combined with adrenalin.
