Materials and MethodsCarboxypeptidases A and B, TPCK-trypsin, and a-chymotrypsin were obtained from Worthington. Before use, the TPCK-trypsin and a-chymotrypsin were purified further on benzamidine-agarose (Fujikawa& McMullen, 1983). Io-doacetic acid was purchased from Sigmaand aminopeptidase from Boehringer Mannheim. L-[2, 3-3H2] Aspartic acid was obtained from New England Nuclear.
