There is a common counsel against judging a book by its cover, so we shall refrain, at least for now, from any commentary on the image of the five men and one woman in sartorial elegance, as the face of the clamour for a new constitution that was promulgated in August 2010. After all, the image on Willy Mutunga’s book1 bears familiar faces, almost all of them lawyers, intellectuals or civil society activists of some repute.
