Describes a method of recovering cysts from soils having as much as 10% water content. The yield is only slightly less* than that obtained by dry flotation. About 1 cwt. of soil can be handled continuously in 2 hrs. A new method of recovering cysts from float, and a new type of cyst-counting slide are descr. The optimum size of sample for cyst counting was found to be about 1/2 lb. With samples of this size results of known standard of accuracy obtain; the standards are presented. || ABSTRACT AUTHORS: R.
