Reaction
of either [Fe(CN)6]3− or [Fe(CN)6]4− with a macrocyclic Ni(II) complex
leads to the same product with a new type of 3-D structure,
which shows a weak ferromagnetic interaction between the nearest Ni(II)
ions through the diamagnetic Fe(II) ion.
