MATERIALS AND METHODSCD studies. The oligonucleotide solutions were at concentrations of about 25# g/ml. A Cary model-60 spectrophotometer was used. Poly (dG-dC)-AAF was a gift from RM Santella (Columbia University) and D. Grunherger (Columbia University). About 50% of its guanine residues were modified.
