In this short paper, we study the nuclearity for the dual operator spaceV* of an operator spaceV. We show thatV* is nuclear if and only ifV*** is injective, whereV*** is the third dual ofV. This is in striking contrast to the situation for general operator spaces. This result is used to prove thatV** is nuclear if and only ifVis nuclear andV** is exact.
