Therapeutic strategy for Parkinson’s disease includes pharmacological therapy2 and surgical therapy. Pharmacological therapy is the main treatment for Parkinson’s disease, which includes dopamine supplementing drugs, 3 dopamine reuptake inhibitor, dopaminergic agonists, 4 and muscarinic antagonists. But there are some drawbacks existing in these drugs. For example, L-dopa treatment is often associated with fluctuations of motor response and dyskinesias, 5 and most drugs do not halt the progression of the disease.
