This problem, usually with stricter decay conditions, has been considered by various authors, in particular [2],[3],[5],[8],[9],[14] and [15]. Our result is a consequence of [14] if we replace 3 with 5 in (0.2)(notice however that for small potentials [14] requires less decay than (0.2)). Our main point however is to provide a fairly natural and elementary argument. To state the result we need to introduce some notation. Consider the operator-A+ q (x). In this note we will assume that (0.3) 0 is neither an eigenvalue nor a resonance for-A+ q (x)
